The City of Kilgore, with the help of Turner Crane Co. out of Longview placed a new set of restrooms in South Street Park on Tuesday. Jeff Howell, Kilgore City Manager said the pre-fabricated building weights 87,000 pounds and the crane was needed to life it over the pavilion due to soft ground and trees. The new restrooms are built out of concrete and by using a pre-fab unit, the city saved money on construction according to Howell. More...
