Kilgore Police Report

Kilgore police officers worked 70 calls and made 10 arrests between 12:01 a.m. Friday and midnight Sunday. Friday's calls included: two vehicle burglaries, one in the 2200 block of Broadway Boulevard and the other in the 800 block of Monroe Street; one building burglary at 2100 Simmons St.; one attempted suicide; one for telephone harassment; one motor vehicle accident with no reported injuries; one aggravated assault; one theft; one for criminal mischief; one shoplifter; one for disorderly conduct; one for indecency with a child; one suspicious person; and six for animal control. On Saturday, calls included: one home burglary in the 1700 block of Walnut Street; one for DWI; one for public intoxication; one for criminal mischief; one motor vehicle accident with no reported injuries; one theft; one suspicious vehicle; one theft; and one for animal control. Firefighters were called out to a residential fire in the 2000 block of Florence Street. Sunday's calls included: one building burglary at 1000 Crescent Dr.; two suspicious vehicles; one terroristic threat; one motor vehicle accident with no reported injuries; one theft; and one disturbance. On Monday, KPD worked 16 calls and made no arrests. Calls included: one motor vehicle accident with no reported injuries; two where property was "found"; one disturbance; one theft; one animal bite; and five for animal control.
