Born at home in Kilgore, she weighed 8 pounds 8 ounces and was 19 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Charlie and Glynda Hale and great-grandparents are J.E. and Lois Harvey, all of Kilgore. Paternal grandparents are Dale and Janis Simpson of Overton. Evie Blossom is welcomed home by her brothers Wesley and Nathan and sisters Hale' and Emma.
