LADY BULLDOGS BASKETBALL HONORED!

Photos by Lester Murray The Kilgore High School girls basketball program was honored at their very own banquet on Tuesday night, and all three teams — varsity, junior varsity and freshmen were recognized for their work this schoolyear. Above: Some members of the JV squad were on hand (above) to accept their certificates. Making up the JV this year was Symone Barryer, Lesta Eaton, Kelsey Jackson, Wendy Brittain, Hunter Dean, Treshala Hicks, LaQuasha Sheffield, Trinity Smith and Blair Ware. The JV is coached by Jerry Reddic. Members of the freshmen squad (top right) were also honored. The freshmen Lady 'Dogs this season were Joanne Borrego, Dana Boyd, Monica Deluna, Delayna Gribble, Krystal Pate, Kyle Watkins, Tory Logston, Jessica Colbert and Yesinie Williams. Varsity players (right) received awards. Andrea Ashley was named the most outstanding athlete; Kitt Sechrist was named offensive MVP; and Airren Blankenship was named defensive MVP. Raven Wiley, a senior, was named overall MVP. Also on varsity this year were Kearia Rayson and LaDoris Conrod.
