Pump Jacks sign two more
      The East Texas Pump Jacks bolstered their lineup with Wednesday's announcement that the team has signed two more hitters for the 2009 season. The Pump Jacks added outfielder Mike Petello, a redshirt sophomore at Scottsdale Community College, and Kyle Frasard, a junior infielder from Texas Wesleyan.

ROTARIANS GOLFING FOR A GREAT CAUSE

Swine flu precautions in place; regional track off, then on again; baseball season, softball playoffs in limbo, and nothing will resume before May 11
      Prudence over outbreaks of the swine flu, a potentially dangerous illness that seems to be spreading throughout North America, are forcing the governing body of Texas high school sports to mandate a hold on sporting events until May 11, it was announced on Wednesday morning.
