Kilgore girl donates locks in honor of cancer survivor

LOCKS OF LOVE
Eight-year-old Makayla Perry had a personal reason to cut her locks for love last week — she did it in honor of her 7-year-old niece, a cancer survivor. The Chandler Elementary second grader cut about 12 inches of her hair to send to Locks of Love, a non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the U.S.
