JOHN M. COHAGEN

Services for John M. Cohagen will be 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6, 2009, at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore with the Rev. Dr. Charles Paschall officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 Thursday, Feb. 5.

He was born on Feb. 2, 1924, to Edward and Ethyl (Arnold) Cohagen and died Feb. 1.

He worked as an advertising salesman. Mr. Cohagen proudly served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was a part of the D-Day Invasion at the beaches of Normandy.

He was preceded in death by his spouse Tootsie; his parents; his stepmother Flora; sister Gay; brothers Edward and Arnold; and nephew Jimmy Cohagen.

He is survived by a daughter, Terry Huntsberger and spouse Andy of Grand Prairie; son Mark Cohagen and wife Joan of Denton; six grandchildren; 11 greatgrandchildren nine greatgreat grandchildren four nephews; and one niece.
