PUTTING UP THE SHOT

Both the MLMS girls teams came up short in their first games back since the holiday break. The Ateam lost, 21-18, and the B-team lost, 24-18. Destiny Rossum led Kilgore's A-team with six points. She also had six steals. Linton had five points and added five steals. Tamara Abercrombie had four points and six rebounds, and Brooke Loftis scored three. Eleven of the MLMS A-team's points came on free throws. In the B-team for MLMS, Erica Allen, Shaniqua Ector and Sarah Mendenhall each had four points. Ector had 10 steals and five rebounds. This week, the MLMS girls will be at Jacksonville, while the MLMS boys will host J'ville, both on Thursday night.
