MURIEL GAULT Memorial services for Muriel Gault, 95, will be 10 a.m. Thursday, January 15, 2009, at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dudley Plaisance officiating. Mrs. Gault passed away after a short illness at The Hospice of East Texas in Tyler, Texas, on January 12, 2009 Muriel Carl Gault was born August 31, 1913, in McAlester, Oklahoma. She graduated from Vandervoort High School in Vandervoort, Arkansas. Shortly thereafter she moved to East Texas at the start of the oil boom. In 1937 she married J.B. Gault in Kilgore, Texas. She and her husband moved around several years and settled in Kilgore in 1948, where she has lived ever since. Mrs. Gault was a homemaker and later worked in retail sales for Duncan's Variety Store. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Martha Gault of Omaha, Nebraska; a grandson, Tyler Gault of Omaha, Nebraska; her loving extended family of Mary and Frank Rucker, Patti Rucker, Vicki O'Neal, Jonathan Rucker and Chris O'Neal, all of Kilgore. Mrs. Gault was preceded in death by her husband, J.B. Gault; sisters, Dorothy Grey, Bea Robinson and Esther Carl; brothers Frank, John, Jim and D.L. Carl.
