BEVERLY HIGGINS

Services for Beverly Higgins, 60, will be 2 p.m. Thursday, January 15, 2009, at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Carl Till officiating. Mrs. Higgins passed away at her residence on Sunday, Jan. 11, 2009.

Mrs. Higgins was born February 10, 1948, in Wylam, Alabama. She worked as a LVN ER nurse in Gladewater and worked for Dr. Fowler for eight years. She loved her horses and her babies, Lucy and Lacy. Mrs. Higgins was a member of Extended Hands Ministry in Gilmer. She was compassionate and loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 14 years, Marc Higgins of Kilgore; son, Chuck Tullos of Kilgore; daughter, Lora Beth Blackmon of Kilgore; brother, Charles Leslie Hamilton of Calera, Alabama; sister, Kay Solano of Kilgore; mother, Billie Ruth Moore of Kilgore; grandchildren, Christopher Jenkins, Charlie Ryan, Jerry Layne White, Tristan Dakota Lopez and Chase Edward Lopez; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Higgins was preceded in death by her dad, Leslie Hudson Hamilton.

Pallbearers are Steve Gamble, Steve Modisette, Steve Fleming, Ron Angel, Duane Baker and Jimmy Hierholzer.

Honorary pallbearers are Charlie Modisette, Terry Bates and Dr. Bill O'Mara.

Family will receive friends from six until eight p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
