Coterie Club holds first meeting of 2009
      The parlor of the First Presbyterian Church Kilgore was the location for the January 8, 2009 meeting of The Coterie Club of Kilgore with Pam De- Ceault serving as hostess. Fittingly, the parlor recently was redecorated by the family of Coterie Club charter member, Margaret Martin, in her honor.

Xi Pi Mu meets in Adams home Jan. 5
      Members of Xi Pi Mu met Jan. 5 in the home of Deedy Adams. Members were given a tour of the newly remodel home, which was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Assisting Deedy as co-hostesses were Alice Lowery and Cissy Covnet, who could not be present. A generous table of food was served prior to the meeting.

Kilgore Seniors celebrate Christmas
      The Kilgore Senior Citizens group met Dec. 10, at the Kilgore Lions Building for their annual Christmas dinner, a turkey and ham feast enjoyed by all. The meeting was called to order by President Betty Roebuck at 11:30 a.m. Ray Drost led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance. Mark Fried gave the opening prayer.
