E. L. "DICK" MCCURLEY

Graveside services for E. L. "Dick" McCurley, 82, of Kilgore will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 12, 2009 at the Rock Hill Cemetery in Chandler, TX with the Reverend Don Beebe officiating. Mr. McCurley passed away Friday, January 9, 2009 in Tyler.

Mr. McCurley was born in Chandler, Texas on January 30, 1926 to the late Dewey and Ethel McCurley. Mr. Mc- Curley owned and operated McCurley Construction. He was a member of the Chandler Masonic Lodge # 993, where he was a past Master, 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason and was awarded the Golden Trowel. Mr. McCurley served in the United States Navy in the South Pacific during WWII. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He leaves behind many loving family and friends.

Mr. McCurley is survived by his wife of 62 years Grace "Jo" Faye McCurley of Kilgore; two daughters and sonsin law Marita and Mack Mason of Liberty City and Molly and Lee Peyton of Liberty City; six grandchildren Melissa Florence, David Mason, Aaron Mason, Brady Peyton, Travis Peyton and Lana Peyton; twelve great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.

Nephews Ricky and Eldon McCurley and Masonic Lodge Brothers will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 4:00 until 5:30 p.m. at Rader Funeral Home.
