Kilgore Recycling Day

SECOND SATURDAY OF EACH MONTH 8 a.m. to noon Police/Courts Parking Lot 909 North Kilgore St.   ITEMS BEING RECYCLED — Corrugated cardboard — Computer paper — Inserts (slick or non-slick) — Plastics No. 1 and No. 2 — Aluminum/steel/tin cans — Newsprint — Magazines  

PLASTIC SOFT DRINK BOTTLES — Look for the "1 PETE" recycle label embossed on the bottom. Includes green, clear, with or without labels and dark plastic bases.

PLASTIC MILK AND WATER JUGS — Look for the "2 HDPE" recycle label embossed on the bottom. Please rinse and remove the caps.

Only consumer items that bear the recycle logo "1PETE" and "2 HDPE" can be accepted. No toys, plastic bags, plastic dishes or plastic parts. No food or toiletry containers unless they bear the "1 PETE" or "2 HDPE" emblem. No mustard, ketchup, peanut butter, hand lotion, cooking oil, pesticide, weed killer or paint containers.

All proceeds go to Kilgore Improvement and Beautification Association
