JERRY DAVID PIRTLE

Graveside services for Mr. Jerry David Pirtle, 62, of Kilgore will be 2 p.m. Thursday, January 8, 2009, at Elderville Cemetery with Reverend David Reeder officiating. Mr. Pirtle passed away Monday in Longview.

Jerry was born November 22, 1946, in Greenfield, Tennessee, son of the late Lewis and Effie Pirtle. He was a loving husband to his late wife Francis Kay Pirtle and loving father and grandfather. Jerry loved fishing and was a Guide at Lake Toledo Bend.

He is survived by his children, Ronda Jacobs of Longview, David Pirtle of Lufkin and Crystal Pirtle of Many, LA; grandchildren, Misty White of Kilgore, Ronnie Jacobs of Longview, Justin Mitchell of South Carolina, Frances Pirtle of Lufkin, Heather Pirtle of Lufkin and Cheyenne Pirtle of Lufkin; great-grandchildren, James White, III, William White, Brandon White and Christopher Jacobs.

Pallbearers will be James Jacobs, James White, Jr., Rocky Windham, Chris Desantos, Danny Cole and Ronnie Norris.

Visitation will be 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
