CLARENCE POWELL "TREY" TAYLOR III
Trey was born December 5, 1964, in Henderson, Texas. He attended Henderson and Sabine High Schools before serving in the US Army as a PFC Infantryman. He was employed as a Merchant Marine for C-Mar Inc. where he worked in the ocean and loved the water, sunsets and sunrises over the water. Trey was a loving, faithful and devoted husband, Daddy, Son, and "Taw-Taw." He accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior at a young age and loved to worship God with abandonment. Trey loved music, loved to fish, camp, motorcycles and spending time with his kids and grandkids. Trey was a perfect example of a man with a heart of David. Though he stumbled he was quick to repent and lived to extend the love and mercy of God he had received. Trey never met a stranger and was loved dearly by everyone he came into contact with. He was a simple man that was enthralled by the little things in life and he will be missed beyond words by all that had the pleasure of knowing him. He leaves behind his wife, Malinda Taylor of Longview; sons, Clarence Powell Andrew Taylor IV of Kilgore; Jacob Nathaniel Taylor of Kilgore and Logan Scott- Greenberg Taylor of Kilgore; daughters, Maranda Marie Taylor of Tatum and Anna Alise Taylor of Kilgore; father, Clarence Powell Taylor II of Hemphill, Texas; mother, Sister Helen Molanders Johnson of Longview; stepdaughters Shelly Lyn Wright of Longview and Nicole Lee Wright of Ft.
