LAWRENCE HUDSON "BOOTS" TAYLOR

Graveside services for Mr. Lawrence Hudson "Boots" Taylor, 94, of Kilgore will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, July 5, 2008 at Hickory Grove Cemetery with Preacher Chris Vidacovich officiating under the direction of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 7:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.

Mr. Taylor passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2008 in Kilgore. He was born April 11, 1914 in Fox, Oklahoma to the late R.A. "Bob" Taylor and Mintie Mae Jennings.

Mr. Taylor was a member of the Chandler Street Church of Christ in Kilgore and has lived in Kilgore since 1999. He enjoyed traveling in his Fourtravel Motorhome, Baseball, Football, horse racing and Rodeos.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Newel Lotspeich Taylor in 2001.

He is survived by his daughters, Pat & husband Luther Tackett and Linda & husband J.D. Dudley both of Kilgore; sister, Ernestine Wells of Edmond, Ok; grandchildren, Terri and Tom Holley, Charles Tackett, Trisha and Ignacio Vazquez all of Kilgore, Tammy and David White of Elderville, Billy and Catherine Kenyon of Houston, Kristi Molck and Jenni Dudley both of Garland; seventeen grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren, four nieces, and friends across the entire United States during all of his travels.
