KNIT ONE, PEARL TWO

As part of the summer reading program held at the Kilgore Public Library, for three weeks the kids are taking a knitting class. Janet Marley, librarian said there will be some type of activity every Thursday throughout the summer. Above Bailey Green works on knitting a bookmark for her first project. Bailey said she is having fun but will probably not pursue knitting as a fulltime hobby. Bailey is the daughter of Lori and Paul Green of Kilgore and a Chandler student. Donna Knight, a volunteer at the library is teaching the class. Knight has more than 40 years experience with knitting. For classes and times contact the library.
