WILMA MARIE JOHNSON

Cremation arrangements for Wilma Marie Johnson, 81, of Kilgore are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Kilgore. Ms. Johnson died Thursday, June 26, 2008 in Henderson.

Wilma Marie Johnson was born March 5, 1927 in Harrison County, Texas to the late Grady and Nora Johnson. She attended school in Danville, and worked as an administrator in the laundry industry. Ms. Johnson was a Baptist and was a very social and generous person. Her hobbies included fishing and playing dominoes with friends and family.

Survivors include, one sister, Doris Evelyn Nolin of Overton, sister in law, Eleanor Johnson of Vivian, LA., nieces, Shirley Carpenter of Longview, Linda Lewis of New London, Dorothy Fussel of Liberty City, Tisa Caston of Overton, Eva Faye Dudo of New London, Betty Hill of Overton, Cindy McRimmon of New London, and Ruba Lee Bussad of Austin: Her nephews include, Cecil C. Nolin of Pittsgrove, N.J., Jimmy Wilborn of Kilgore, and David Riddle of Pirtle.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, July 1, 2008 from six until eight in the evening. There will be no formal services beyond the visitation period.
