Monaghan and Toon to wed in July

Lindsey Lee Toon and Joe Richard Monaghan, Jr

Mr. and Mrs. Steve Toon of Kilgore are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsey Lee Toon, to Joe Richard Monaghan, Jr., son of Calvin and Lori Westmoreland of Bullard and Joe and Tammy Monaghan of Baytown.

Lindsey is the granddaughter of Mary Ott and the late Dr. William Ott of Kilgore, and Dosia Toon, and the late J.W. Toon of Henderson. Joe is the grandson of Margaret and Joe Spellman of Bullard, and Frank Monaghan and the late Angelica Monaghan of Baytown.

The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of Kilgore High School. She graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2007 with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. She is currently employed by Kilgore ISD as a Kindergarten teacher.

The groom is a 2002 graduate of Kilgore High School. He graduated from the National Academy of Railroad Science in 2005. He is currently employed by BNSF Railway as a conductor.

The couple will wed July 26, 2008, at The Lake Cherokee Water Company in Longview.
