BOBBIE BURRESS

Services for Bobbie Burress, 80, Henderson, are scheduled for 10:00 am, Thursday, June 26, at the Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home chapel, Overton, with the Reverend Johnny Wright officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, near New London.

Mrs. Burress died Monday, June 23, 2008 in a Kilgore nursing home.

She was born July 20, 1927, in Smackover, Arkansas to the late George Hackler and Irene Carter Hackler.

Mrs. Burress married Joe Burress. He preceded her in death March 9, 1998.

Mrs. Burress was a housewife and had also worked as a seamstress for Kilgore Manufacturing.

She was a member of Grace Herald Baptist Church, New London.

Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Jenny Harmon, Overton and Georgia Ann and Kelly Reid, Copperas Cove; three grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Dale Stanley, Charles Harmon, James Griffin, Michael Watson, Mack Clark, and David Howell.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Wednesday, June 25.
