CIFFIE MAE SCOTT

Funeral services for Cliffie Mae Scott, 92, of Kilgore will be held Saturday, June 21, 2008 at 12 noon, at Faith Tabernacle of God in Christ with Supt. Nelson Gatlin officiating. Burial will follow at Kilgore Cemetery under the direction of Cunningham Funeral Home.

She was born Jan. 22, 1916 in Bethany, LA. to the parentage of Charles Williams and Carnelia Jackson.

She many churches including Unity Tabernacle until her health failed.

She attended Public Schools in Bethany, LA. and completed her education at Pemberton High in Marshall. She was married to James P. Scott for 50 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four siblings, and four children.

She is survived by two daughter, Annie Opal Brooks, of Dallas, Mary Pattillo (James) of Kilgore; one son, Richard Scott (Joy) of Austin; two sisters; two brother; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m., Friday evening at Cunningham Funeral Home.
