MARCUS P. EUBANK

Marcus P. Eubank was born August 2, 1927 in El Dorado, Arkansas to James and Jessie Eubank. He passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2008,

Marcus moved to East Texas at an early age and attended Longview and Henderson schools. After graduation from Henderson High School, he joined the US Navy and served his country during World War II.

Upon returning from the Navy he married Robbie Sue Gibson. He and his wife founded Eubank Manufacturing Enterprises. He was a member of First Christian Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Mark and Jessie McCown Eubank and a sister, Joann Eubank.

He survived by his wife Sue; children and spouses: Gala and George Strunk, Mark and Lesa Eubank, Jan and Charles Van Meter; Mike and Vicki Eubank; Kerry and Steve Lattery; brother, Jim an Kay Eubank; sister, Leah Ashford; 17 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at First Christian Church, Longview at 12 Noon Saturday with Dr. Jim Lewis and Dr. Richard Emerson officiating. Burial will follow at Crim's Chapel Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
