E.E. BROWN

Services for Edward Eugene Brown, 82, of Kilgore, were Thursday, June 19, 2008 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home. Burial followed at Hickory Grove Cemetery. Mr. Brown passed away Monday, June 16, 2008, in Kilgore.

Mr. Brown was born in Dover, AK on Jan. 22, 1926 and was the son of the late Glinn and Lila Cloud Brown. Mr. Brown worked for Kilgore Ceramics for 39 years and owned & operated a commercial peach orchard. Mr. Brown was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Kilgore. Mr. Brown served in the US Navy.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Betty Robinson and brother, James R. Brown.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Brown of Kilgore; sons, Edward Ray Brown, Michael Eugene Brown, Anthony Kevin Brown and Brian Keith Brown all of Kilgore; daughter, Linda K. Edwards of Kilgore; eleven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Tony Brown, Alton Risinger, Glinn Brown, Darius Smith, Robert Brown and Ronald Bushong.
