E.E. BROWN

Services for Edward Eugene Brown, 82, of Kilgore, will be held Thursday, June 19, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery. Mr. Brown passed away Monday, June 16, 2008, in Kilgore.

Mr. Brown was born in Dover, Arkansas on January 22, 1926 and was the son of the late Glinn and Lila Cloud Brown. Mr. Brown has lived in Kilgore since 1946 and worked for Kilgore Ceramics for 39 years and owned & operated a commercial peach orchard. Mr. Brown was a member of Steel Workers Union #166 and a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Kilgore. Mr. Brown served in the US Navy. He is preceded in death by his sister, Betty Robinson and brother, James R. Brown.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dorothy Brown of Kilgore; sons, Edward Ray Brown, Michael Eugene Brown, Anthony Kevin Brown and Brian Keith Brown all of Kilgore; daughter, Linda K. Edwards of Kilgore; eleven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2008, at Rader Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Tony Brown, Alton Risinger, Glinn Brown, Darius Smith, Robert Brown and Ronald Bushong.

Memorials may be made to charity of one's choice.
