KEDC to discuss North Kilgore Industrial Park projects this week Kilgore Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors are scheduled to discuss an agenda of items this week at a regularly scheduled meeting. Among discussion items are: Board members are expected to consider discussion and possible action on items associated with the development of North Kilgore Industrial Park, including a report on the status of park projects. In other North Kilgore Industrial Park business, the board is expected to approve payment of an invoice from Warren's Stump Removal in the amount of $1650 for stump grinding services required on lot one. The board should also consider discussion and possible approval of building repairs in an amount up to $50,000 on KEDC-owned property located at 1313 Energy Drive as well as discussion and possible approval of payment of half the cost, in the amount of $4,396.50, associated with hydrant installation at Longview Street and State Highway 42, which is designated to serve companies in the vicinity. Board members will also consider discussion regarding the KEDC budget for fiscal year 2008-2009. The board is also expected to approve the extension of the term of the economic development agreement with Closure Systems International, Inc. for a period of one-year and possible approval of assignment of economic development agreement with QC Manufacturing, LP to Natural Resource Recovery, Inc. Other agenda items include: - Texpool monthly rate history 2008; - Sales Tax revenue comparison; - Destination East Texas publication of Synergy Park; - Report on status of park projects; - Report on status of shell building II; and - Staff Reports KEDC Board of Directors meets 5:15 p.m.. Tuesday, June 17 at Kilgore City Hall in Council Chambers. |
