THE MONTHLY MEETING OF THE KILGORE BAND BOOSTERS will be held Tuesday, June 17, at 6 p.m. in the high school band hall instead of June 10 at 7 p.m.

THURSDAY

YOUNG AT HEART SENIOR ADULTS OF FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH, KILGORE will have their monthly meeting for June at the Catfish Village in Longview on Thursday, June 19 at 12 noon. If you plan to ride the church bus, reservations need to be made through the church office.

THE H.E.A.R.T. GROUP, a domestic sexual assault group for women meets every Thursday from 6-7 p.m. at the Kilgore Community Crisis Center located at 905 Broadway. The public is welcome to attend. For more information call 903-984-3019

THE KILGORE HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 1968 is looking for former classmates who attended school with us in Kilgore. Reunion activities are planned for the weekend of June 13 and 14, 2008. THE RUSK COUNTY DEMOCRATIC CLUB will meet on Tuesday, June 24, at 7 p.m. in the Brands room at the Henderson Expo Center. This will be an organizational meeting to plan for the November general election. Visitors are welcome.

THE ANNUAL MEETING OF THE DANVILLE CEMETERY ASSOCIATION will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2008, at the Danville Cemetery, Old Highway 26, at 11:00 a.m. for Memorial Services. Lunch will follow services; bring your favorite foods. KILGORE PUBLIC LIBRARY is looking for donations to for a summer knitting class. Staff is asking the public to bring in knitting needles and yarn. For more information contact Janet Marley at 903-984-1529.

THE LAIRD FOUNDATION AUXILIARY GIFT SHOP is needing book donations. The books are sold for .25¢ to provide prescription durgs for indigent area residents and Kilgore College Nursing Scholarships. Books may be dropped off at the gift shop lacated in the hospital lobby
