J. L. (WINKY) WILKINS

Graveside services for J. L. (Winky)Wilkins, 81, of Liberty City was 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 12, 2008 at the Mt.Moriah Cemetery with burial following services. Mr. Wilkins passed away Monday, June 9, 2008 in Kilgore.

Mr.Wilkins was bornNovember 28, 1926 in Gladewater to the late Virgil and Pauline Wilkins. He served in theUnited States Army during WWII and was stationed in the Philippines.

His wife Lounette Wilkins who passed away in 1998 precedes him in death.

Mr. Wilkins is survived by his two sons and daughters-in-law Barry and LauraWilkins of Liberty City and Mike and Rhonda Wilkins of Liberty City; brother Bobby Johnson of Kilgore; ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and many other loving family and friends.
