DOROTHY KELLY

Graveside services for Dorothy Kelly, 84, of Kilgore will be two p.m., Saturday, June 14, 2008 at Laurel Land Cemetery, Dallas, Texas. Mrs. Kelly passed away Tuesday in a Longview hospital with family and friends at her bedside.

She was born December 10, 1923 in Dallas, Texas and was a 1941 graduate of Sunset High School. Dorothy married Pat Kelly November 17, 1951. She followed her husband as his work moved him from town to town, working as a Secretary in various fields and industries. Mrs. Kelly was a Methodist and a homemaker. She will always be remembered as "Mimi" to all of her family and friends.

Mrs. Kelly is survived by a son, Michael Kelly of Kilgore; daughter-in-law Betty Kelly of Kilgore; two granddaughters, Jessica Kelly of Kilgore and Tabitha Kelly of Kilgore; a great-granddaughter, Memrie Michele Densman; brother and sister-inlaw, Roland and Yolanda Lund of Farmers Branch; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Sybil and Jack Daffron of Duncanville and Patsy Kelly of Houston; niece, Annette Norman and her husband Rusty of Dallas; a great niece, Ashleigh Norman of Dallas.

The family will receive friends Friday evening between six and eight p.m.
