Regular tickets for 'Jacks on sale Monday
That means that beginning Monday, fans may purchase tickets for the team's historic home opener this Thursday, June 12, against the McKinney Marshals. Tickets for Friday's game against the Marshals, which will be part of the Pump Jacks Fire- work s Fridays series, will also be on sale. In fact, fans may purchase tickets for any of the 24 regular season home games beginning Monday morning. Single-game tickets will start at $5 for adults and $4 for children and seniors for general admission tickets in the grandstand. Lower box seats, the closest seats to the field and the only seats that include in-yourseat wait service, are $10 per seat. Upper box seats, located immediately behind the lower box seats, are $8 per seat. Fans will be able to purchase tickets online through the team's web site at www.pumpjacksbaseball. com. The web site, which will be expanded and improved next week, will give fans the opportunity to view seating charts, browse available seats, purchase tickets, and even print tickets at home on a home printer. Fans may also visit the team's offices at 1100 Stone Road, Suite 120, in Kilgore, or call the office at (903) 218-4638. The main office is open to purchase tickets from Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 pm when the team is on the road, or on any home game day from 9 a.m. until 3 1/2 hours before game time. Pump Jacks home game times will be 7:05 p.m. for games Tuesday through Saturday and 5:05 p.m. on Sundays. In the event of a doubleheader, the first game will begin at 5:05 p.m., and the teams will play a pair of seven-inning ballgames. The Pump Jacks will also offer groups the opportunity to book pre-game, all-you-can-eat picnics on the team's new 1,500 square-foot picnic deck at Driller Park, still under construction as of press time Saturday. Groups of 25 or more are also eligible to receive discounts on tickets, with increased discounts based on the size of the group. For youngsters, the Pump Jacks offer birthday party packages and the Field of Dreams program, which gives one youth team per game the chance to take the field with the Pump Jacks starting lineup. More information on all of these options will be found on the team's expanded web site next week. The Pump Jacks' inaugural season opens next week with a visit to McKinney on Tuesday and Wednesday. The Pump Jacks return home for their historic home opener at Kilgore's Driller Park on Thursday. The following evening will mark the first Fireworks Fridays of the season, with a spectacular fireworks show following the game.
