TERESA MARIA COLEMAN SHEPPARD

Teresa was born February 15, 1962 in Kilgore, Texas, the daughter of Arthur and Mattie Coleman. She departed this life on May 29, 2008.

Early in life she was baptized at New Hope Baptist Church and most recently attended Unity Tabernacle in Kilgore.

She attended Kilgore Public Schools and graduated from Kilgore High School.

She was united with her husband and best friend, Johnny, for 27 years. They shared four children.

Her parents and two sisters, Linda Coleman and Cynthia "Tiggy" Coleman, preceded her in death.

She survived by her husband, Johnny Sheppard of Kilgore; three daughters and sons-inlaw, Felecia Mimms of Carthage, Amanda and Raci Smith of Overton, Joseph Coleman of Kilgore, and Stephanie Sheppard of Kilgore; three grandchildren; sisters, Evangelist Carolyn Ahubley of Natick, MA, Evangelist Marilyn Phillips of Kilgore, Kathy and Rev. Bernard Gray of Kilgore; brother, James Coleman of Salt Lake City, UT; motherin law, Lois Sheppard of Kilgore and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
