A whole nuther level

"Look," said Cheryl Kelly's sister, "when I see you again, it had better have been taken to a whole "nuther" level." "I laughed all the way to work," said Cheryl, whose sister, Gina Wehunt, had purchased her an "I care gift" for an afternoon at the beauty shop. I can't go home unless my hair has been taken to a whole nuther level," laughed Cheryl. The phrase "Git er Done" may well have been replaced…
Also ready to take it to a whole nuther level is Darlene Perry who was in Longview on Thursday with other ladies "in the pink" watching as Mary Kay Representative, Courtney Long received her pink Cadillac. Determined to see a Kilgoreite become the next recipient of that pink dream, Darlene is out there trying to "git er done." To help her take it to a whole nuther level, she can be contacted at 903-240-9052.
Speaking of a "whole nuther level," keep the prayers going for Tina Bonner and family. Tina, who is expecting triplets has been confined to the hospital until the babies are born. She has been sedated to stop the contractions until she is at least 28 weeks. She is currently 26 weeks. Tina is at LSU in Shreveport. Cards and letters can be dropped off for her at Kilgore National Bank. A fund for the babies has been set up at the bank.
Since school is out, all of the churches are busy, busy, and busy, especially with Vacation Bible School. Reverend Charlotte Austin at McCary's Chapel tells us they will be Surfin' Through the Scriptures June 16-20 from 5:30 - 8 p.m. "We'll have supper, a gathering time with a Famingo puppet, music, crafts, and bible stories," she said. I love hearing the supply lists requested for Vacation Bible School.
"He's like Willie," said Pastor "Buddy" Duggins last Sunday morning. "As soon as service is over he's on the road again - back to Nashville. Musician Ben Clark surprised the congregation by attending both services at Forest Home Baptist Church. Yes, his banjo was with him and he played a song that he had written. It was so natural to look up and see him sitting on the front row with his grandmother Teeny Still, it took awhile for some to realize he was there. He and Taylor Swift made over 200 concerts last year and Ben was due back in Nashville Sunday evening. Ben carries his beliefs with him and when at home in Nashville is an active member of Nashville Baptist Church. His sisters Penny and Katie Clark are touring the radio stations. Their father tells us, they have been to forty of the states, so far.
