Jail expansion on Rusk agenda Rusk County Commissioners' Court will open their meeting and go directly to a behindclosed door session for discussion on the hiring of a coordinator for the jail expansion project, responsible to the court during construction. A vote in the open courtroom will likely follow that private discussion. Commissioners will also discuss for approval the construction manager-at-risk method for the jail expansion project and request proposals for the project as well as discussing for approval the advertisement for proposals for the construction manager-at-risk In other business commissioners are scheduled for discussion of approval of two-year term appointment for Rusk County election judges and alternates. Commissioners are also slated to: - approve a request from Rusk County Library Advisory Board for the appointment of a new board member; and - Approve a request from Friends Of Rusk County Li- brary to locate a teen/young adult section in an area adjacent to the children's Library. Rusk County Commissioners meet 10 a.m. Monday, June 9 at Rusk County Courthouse in the Commissioners' Courtroom. |
