Fireworks on city agenda Tuesday Kilgore City Council will address a relatively short agenda Tuesday night, with items on the agenda which include: - Approval of a request from the East Texas Pump Jacks for permission to conduct fireworks displays following home games on June 13, July 5, July 11, and Aug. 1; - Approval of a Consent, Forgiveness and Escrow Agreement between Laird Memorial Hospital Inc., the City of Kilgore, and Austin Bank; - Approval of an amendment to the Water Supply Contract between the City of Kilgore and Sabine River Authority; and - Consent of the Council (written via approved minutes) for City Manager to invest in other real estate or property improvements within the City, besides personal residence. In other business, council is slated to discuss funding for the Chandler Street improvement project and downtown infrastructure. Kilgore City Council meets 5:15 p.m. Tuesday, June 10 at Kilgore City Hall in Council Chambers. |
