DICK ROLAND TURRENTINE

Funeral Services for Dick Roland Turrentine, 53, of Liberty City were Friday June 6, 2008, at the Fist Baptist Church of Liberty City with Rev. Bruce Wells officiating. Interment followed at Kilgore Memorial Gardens. Mr. Turrentine died Tuesday, June 3, 2008. Arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Kilgore.

Dick was born February 19, 1955 in Shreveport, LA to Bob and Nancy Turrentine. He worked as a machinist and was owner of DRT Enterprises. Dick was a member of the First Baptist Church of Liberty City.

Survivors include, his wife, Nita Buck Turrentine, son, Robert Turrentine of Hendersonville, Tenn. Two inherited daughters, Tobey Arnold of Liberty City and Sherri Jordan of Longview. His parents, and three brothers, Dan Turrentine, of Pittsburg, Steve Turrentine of Hackberry, LA, and Mark Turrentine of Hawkins also survive him.

Pallbearers were Randy Hart, John Funk, L.G. Miller, Terry Johnston, Kevan Kerns, Jewel Beasley, Jackie Ford, and Ben Wells.

Memorials may be made to the " Helps Ministry" at First Baptist Church of Liberty City or Hospice of East Texas in lieu of flowers.
