CLAUDIA LAVERNE HEADLEY

Services for Claudia Laverne Headley, 72, of Whitehouse, were on Tuesday at Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home chapel, with J.C. Tate and Douglas Dudley officiating. Burial was in Whitehouse Cemetery under the direction of Burks Walker Tippit.

Claudia passed away on May 30, 2008, with cancer.

Claudia was born near Big Spring, Texas on February 1, 1936. She married Robert {Bob} Headley on March 29, 1958. Claudia was a member of the Whitehouse Church of Christ.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be considered to the American Cancer Society, or a charity of choice, in her name.

Survivors include her husband Bob of Whitehouse; her son Steven and his wife of Arlington, Texas; her son Dee of Kilgore, Texas; five grandchildren; sister-in-law Opal Reed of Coleman, Texas; several cousins, nephews and other relatives.
