MARY WHITE

Graveside services for Mary White, 87 of Kilgore will be 2PM, Saturday, May 31, 2008 at Rusk County Memorial Gardens with Rev. Mike Waddle officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Kilgore. Mrs. White went home to be with her Savor on Wednesday May 28, 2008 in Kilgore.

Mary was born on July 4, 1920 in Oil Hill, Kansas to the late Mrs. and Mrs. Lewis Ogden. She moved from Kansas to Kilgore during the oil boom with her family. She married Clyde Lawrence " Pete" White in 1940. They had two daughters, Mary Ann and Sandra. She was a homemaker and member of First Church of God in Kilgore.

Mary is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and Travis Armstrong, Sr. of Liberty City, four grandchildren, Kathy Lynn Edmondson of Liberty City, Travis Armstrong, Jr. and wife Tori of Liberty City, Pamela Gordon of Longview and William Thomas Gordon of Longview, seven great grandchildren, Logan Edmondson, Lane Edmondson, Gage Armstrong, Ayden Armstrong, Blaise Wingo, Haylee Gordon, Bryce Gordon. One sister, Billie Vines of Livingston, and one brother Lewis Elbert Ogden of Childress, numerous nieces and nephews.

Her husband C.L. "Pete" White, daughter, Sandra Jean Gordon, grandson, Clayton Stanley, five sisters, Donna Lilly, Wanda Beasley, Estella Gilley, Myra Holland and Jackie Reynolds, precede her in death.

The family will receive friends six to eight in the evening on Friday, May 30, 2008 at the funeral home.
