The Maude Laird Middle School 8th grade class was treated to a hot air balloon demonstration on their last day of school. Shellie Carraway, a ten year pilot came to the school, set up the balloon and took questions from the students. The event was sponsored by the MLMS science department. Jody Sanders is the principal at MLMS.
