Ashia Kelly (inset) was presented the Queen of the Boards (rebounding) award, and Troylisha Orange was presented the Thief (steals) award. Shae Morgan won the Disher (assists) award, and Raven Wiley (below) was presented an award reaching the 400-point mark this season.

Track and field regional qualifiers were recognized, including (top) Jessica Shepherd, Tai'Shea Reese, Samone Jones and Shae Morgan, as well as Brandi Johnson. Reese was also honored for reaching the UIL State Track and Field Championships earlier this month, getting there for the second straight year, once again in the girls long jump. Reese set a new school record in the long jump (19 feet, 9 1/2 inches at the regional track meet at the University of North Texas in April), and was named outstanding field event award-winner. The 400 meter/800 meter relay team of Johnson, Shepherd, Morgan and Reese was honored, as well. Morgan was presented with the Workhorse award for her hard work, and the newcomer of the year award was presented to Andrea Ashley.
