EVELYN SHARP

Graveside services for Mrs. Evelyn Sharp 84, of Kilgore will be Saturday, May 31, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. at the Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Longview with the Reverend Jim Kennedy officiating. Mrs. Sharp passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2008 in Tyler.

Mrs. Sharp was born January 15, 1924, in Jacksonville, Texas to the late Elmer Lee and Maudie Mae Buice. She was a member of the Lady's Auxiliary with the V.F.W. Post 6524. Mrs. Sharp attended the Church of the Way. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law Edna Sharp of Kilgore and Merlyn and Ronnie Williams of Overton; one son and daughter-in-law William and Debby Sharp of Maryland; two sisters Bernice Austin of Kilgore and Joy Crawford of Humble; son-in-law A.J. Felix of Houston; one granddaughter Holley Saco of Brownsville; six grandsons Michael Smith of Houston, Michael Rainey of Dallas, Lee Sharp of Nacogdoches, Michael Sharp of Maryland, Ron Williams of Houston and Craig Williams of Overton; ten great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews as well as a host of other loving family and friends.

Her husband Lee T. Sharp, daughter Judy Smith Felix and grandson Eric Williams precede her in death.

The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home of Kilgore Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
