Tuesday night, Jody Clements said three males entered the school grounds at Kilgore High School with mischief on their minds. Clements said trees were rolled, windows, buildings and cars marked up, but the worst part was these three people placed the bodies of dead animals on different parts of the campus. Clements said the incident has been turned over to the Kilgore Police Department for investigation and anyone having information about these fine gentleman can contact the police, the school or the newspaper and remain anonymous. Don't forget to come out to R.E. St. John's Stadium tonight for the Kilgore High School graduation ceremony. The ceremony starts at 8 p.m. and if there is a rain out, the ceremony will be held on Friday night at the same time. *** The school year is over, tomorrow there will be early dismissal at 1:15 p.m. Yes parents, schools out for the summer. I would like to take this time to thank the teachers, administrators and of course the students for all the help they have given me over this year, I hope each and every one of you have a great summer, congratulations to the seniors and I will see the rest of you next school year. *** The 2008 Rodeo parade kicks off on May 31 at 10 a.m. in downtown Gladewater. Come join the fun and help kick off this 71st year of rodeo action. This year's Parade Marshall will be Mildred Bowden Jones and joining this years parade as Honorary Director is Rex Youngblood. The parade is open to all so grab your horse, bicycle or antique car or just your lawn chair and come join the fun. For further details you can contact Larry Davis at 903- 931-1377. Following the parade will be the 6th annual Chuck Wagon Cook-off, which will start at noon. People will see some very authentic wagons that come from all over the country. Tickets will be available at the rodeo grounds. At 8:30 p.m. May31 there will be a downtown-street dance and at 7 a.m. June 1 there will be the Breakfast Cowboy Church at the rodeo grounds.
