PAUL PETERSON

Graveside services for Mr. Paul Donald Peterson,80, of Kilgore were Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at Kilgore City Cemetery with the Rev. Freeman Pierce officiating. Mr. Peterson passed away May 23, 2008 in Kilgore.

Mr. Peterson was born on April 22, 1928 in Kilgore to the late William Durham and Pearl Rice Peterson. He proudly served his country in the Navy during WWII. He worked in the East Texas Oil Patch until his retirement. He was a member of the Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Kilgore.

Mr. Peterson is preceded in death by his wife, Marie Jimmerson Peterson and two sons, Mark and Mike Peterson.

He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Hugh Sparkman of Kilgore and Debbie and Danny Spruill of Kilgore; two sons and daughter-in-law, Donald and Mary Peterson and Larry Peterson all of Kilgore; eleven grandchildren, and twenty one great grandchildren; brother, Ed Peterson of Kilgore.

Pallbearers were Cesar Galvan, Jim Gregg, Joey Sparkman, Chris Geddie, Shane Peterson and John Rogers.
