REV. T.J. PEGUES-DAVIS SR.

Funeral services for Rev. T.J. Pegues-Davis Sr. of Kilgore, will be held Friday, May 23, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Post Oak C.M.E. Church with Rev. Ricky Abraham officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope cemetery. Under the direction fo Cunningham Funeral Home.

He was born June 25, 1926 to the late J.D. and Cora Davis.

He was called into the Ministry in 1959 and pastored until his helath failed.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Pegues-Davis, of Kilgore; four sons, Rev. James Pegues-Davis (Bridgett) of Longview, Rev. T.J. Pegues- Davis Jr. (Fayette) of Henderson, David Pegues-Davis of Kilgore, Kevin Pegues-Davis of Kilgore; four daughters, Janice Jackson, of Kilgore, Tammy Abercrombie of Kilgore, Ann Thomas of Kilgore; seven grandchildren; a host of friends and relatives.

Public viewing will be 2 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Thursday.
