RUEBEN RUBY LOVE GOODWYN

Funeral services for Rueben Love Goodwyn, 66, of Kilgore will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 24, 2008 at Kilgore Baptist Church with Rev. Damien Williams officiating and Rev. Marvin L. Taylor as eulogist. Burial will be in Kilgore Baptist Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Victory Funeral Services.

Rueben was born on October 20, 1941 in Longview, to parents, Leroy Goodwyn and Odessa Malrey. He passed away May 18, 2008.

Rueben united with the Kilgore Baptist Church at an early age. He attended Kilgore elementary schools and C. B. Dansby High School. He was employed by Austin Road Company inTexarkana, Texas.

His mother and stepfather, one son, Rueben Dewayne Pegues and a daughter, Marilyn Pegues preceded him in death.

He is survived by, three sisters and brother-in-law, Mary Jane Malrey Shepherd, Jessie Carol and Roy Limbrick, and Katherine Malrey Williams all of Houston; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Otis and Mary Malrey of Kilgore, Major and Annie Rae Malrey and Freddie L. Malrey both of Houston, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Public viewing will be Friday, May 23, 2008 from noon until 5:30 p.m. at Victory Funeral Services.
