KC announces changes in administrative staff
Kilgore College this week announced a pair of changes in its administrative staff.
Trey Hattaway began duties March 31 as the new director of Enrollment Management and Marketing at Kilgore College. Hattaway follows Bill Gibbs, who was the marketing and enrollment director at KC from 2004 to 2007.
Hattaway, a Kilgore native, was the registrar at Tyler Junior College since 2003. He has also worked with orientation, student relations and admissions departments at Texas Tech and Tarleton State University. He graduated from Texas Tech with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Public Relations in 1988 and completed a Master of Science in Agriculture Education from Texas Tech in 2001. As director of Enrollment Management and Marketing, he will be responsible for the college's marketing plans and supervision of admissions, public relations, advertising and printing services.
Leah Gorman was named the assistant director of Marketing and Student Outreach at Kilgore College. She was previously the Coordinator of Student Activities at KC.
Gorman, a Kilgore native, graduated from The University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism in 1993 and completed a Master of Business Administration from Le- Tourneau University in 2007. In her new role, Gorman will be responsible for assisting the director of enrollment and marketing with public relations, advertising and printing services.
