JOHNNY H. BOLT

Funeral Services for Mr. Johnny H. Bolt, 81, of Kilgore will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 23, 2008 at Forest Home Baptist Church with Reverend Earl "Buddy" Duggins officiating. Burial will follow in the Kilgore Cemetery. The family will receive friend at the funeral home Thursday from 6:00 P.M. until 7:30 P.M.

Mr. Bolt was born April 8, 1927 in Louann, Arkansas, son of the late Luther C and Bernice Bolt. He passed away May 20, 2008 in Longview, Texas. Johnny Bolt served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was a member of Forest Home Baptist Church where he was a member of the Sanctuary Sunday School Class and also a member of Kilgore Lions Club. He was co-owner and President of Bolt Fuel Oil a company his father started in 1933 and also co-owner Paraffin Melting. Mr. Bolt served on the Board of Directors of Citizens Bank and East Texas Financial Corporation. He also served as Chairman and Board of Director of Gladewater National Bank.

Johnny is survived by his wife of 60 years Nonna Fay Bolt of Kilgore; sons Stanley Bolt of St Paul, Minnesota and John Bradley Bolt of Kilgore; grandson, Nicholas Bolt of St. Paul, Minnesota; sisters, Virginia Long of Kilgore and Mildred B. Hill of Tyler; brothers, Joe Bolt of Kilgore and Paul Bolt of Kilgore; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son Kelly Bolt
