Kilgore high school, middle school choirs to perform

The choirs of Kilgore school district will present a spring concert, "Rockin' America," Tuesday evening.

The concert in the high school auditorium begins at 7 p.m.

Featured on the program will be the Maude Laird Middle School honor choir, middle school treble choir and the middle school tenor and bass choir, all under the direction of Eva Williams. Also featured will be the high school a capella choir, the treble choir and Starshine. The high school choirs are directed by Patty McKinney. Choreographer is Joan Sechrist.

The KHS a capella choir will perform their UIL contest music and will open the program with their rendition of "The Star Spangled Banner" which they recently sang ata San Antonio Spurs game.

High school choir awards will be presented at 6:50 p.m.

Admission is free and the public is invited.
