Teacher of the Year at Elder Cooperative School was presented to Shannon King, math lab teacher by Superintendent Jody Clements (right). Principal Billy Gillum was also present.
Jill Gee (center) was presented Teacher of the Year at Kilgore Heights Elementary School by Superintendent Jody Clements. Assistant Principal Julie Latham was present for the award along with Gee's student, O'Keilon Walton. Gee is a kindergarten teacher.
Kimberly Slayter, a 4th grade teacher at Kilgore Intermediate School received Teacher of the Year by Jody Clements, KISD superintendent.
Jody Clements presented Dawn Poe, a 3rd grade teacher at Chandler Elementary School received Teacher of the Year.
Sheila Haralson could not be present at this shooting to receive Teacher of the Year. It will be awarded at a later time.
