KILGORE'S TROYLISHA ORANGE SIGNS WITH JARVIS

Photo by Lester Murray Kilgore High School senior basketball standout Troylisha Orange (seated, center) has signed a letter of intent to continue her basketball career and her education at Jarvis College. In District 12-4A play this year, Orange was a big reason the Lady Bulldogs made it back to the 4A playoffs. In district play, Orange scored 99 points 7.1 per game), had 73 rebounds (5.2 per game), had 40 steals ( 2.9 per game), and 18 assists (1.3 per game). Overall in the 2007-08 season, she scored 185 points (7.4 per game), had 120 rebounds (5 per game), had 4 blocked shots, 64 steals (2.6 per game), and 63 assists (2.6 per game). She was joined by her mother, Barbara Norris (seated on left), stepfather Clement Norris (seated, right), KHS head basketball coach Davia Garrett standing, far left), Jarvis head coach Elissia Burwell (second from left), KHS assistant coach Jerry Reddic, and Jarvis assistant coach Angela Lawson.
