Hot dogs, nachos and cool water at Kilgore City Pool Hot and humid days are just ahead and the city pool is ready for another busy summer season. New to pool goers this season is a remodeled concession area with an expanded list of items, including hot dogs and nachos. Mike Green, director of community services, said the pool house has been repainted and updated. Green anticipates pool season kick-off for Saturday, May 24. - Pool hours are 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. seven days a week; - Swimming lessons are scheduled: June 9 through June 20, at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and 6:45 p.m.; another session is scheduled July 14 through July 25 with classes at 9 a.m., 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.; - Pool rental is from 6:15 p.m. until 8 p.m. and from 8:15 p.m. until 10 p.m. Pool pricing is unchanged and $2 lets anyone swim all day; other prices are: - Season pass $45 - Family season pass (up to four people) $90; - Lessons are $30 for a twoweek session.
Pool rental is not available weekdays between June 9 and June 20. + |
