KILGORE WATER PARK

At top, with all the rain, 5.79 inches in the past two days, flooding has once again taken over Meadowbrook Park and Houston St. For some this is an inconvienance, but for others this is an opportunity. Nick Cline and Donovan Duncan, both from Kilgore (center photo) said they has to seize the opportunity to go swimming, sliding and diving. (bottom photo) The intersection of Horseshoe Dr. and Houston St. is where the flood waters collected, but just enough to keep traffic from getting to houses in that block. Kilgore city crews blocked off Houston St. as there was no access around Meadowbrook Park.
